(The back story is: Larry and Leon accidentally swapped cell phones because they’re identical and Leon’s living with him, and Tim Meadows’ character is actually trying to call Larry..)
Man, I remember how hilarious this Onion article was when it first came out. At the time Gillette had the Mach3, which was ridiculous enough, but not to be outdone, the Quatro came out and had 4 blades. Well the Onion predicted it and sure enough Gillette released the 5 blade behemoth the Fusion. Then they added batteries. And now, wtf a flashlight? C’mon. They should call it the “Mach-U“.
What’s next, a toothbrush? Nail clippers? Nose hair trimmer? (hey that’s not a bad idea.)
It’s all a ploy to get you to spend more and more on blades. Once they hit $2 per I jumped ship and went with a good ol’ fashioned premium Merkur Vision double edge. (yes it’s spendy too but the blades are $0.50 and last months)
Ah, guilty pleasure. Jared Leto cracks me up. Kfed is a joke. The Val one I didn’t need to see. Is it me or did Winehouse look the same in both of them? They could have found a way grosser pic of Nicole Ritchie, on both sides. When was Tyra ever that thin. I love how they postulate: “healthy?”
